Another Turtle Release!

A loggerhead turtle named “PacMan” will be released back into the ocean on Friday morning at 9am across from the Sandbridge Market in Sandbridge. The public are welcome and encouraged to attend (especially the kids!).

“PacMan” was accidently hooked by a fisherman in June 2012 and has recovered fully so he is ready to go home! Hats off to the Virginia Aquarium Stranding Response Program. If you ever accidently hook a turtle please contact the Aquarium Stranding Response at (757) 385-7575 to make sure the turtle is helped in the best way possible.
