Military Child of the Year® Award

Nominations are now being accepted (through December 14, 2013) for the Military Child of the Year® Award. A child from each branch of service is honored for their “resiliancy, leadership, and achievement”.

Award recipients receive a trip to DC, a laptop and $5,000.

According to the Operation Homefront website “Nominations may be made by parents, other family members, teachers, counselors, coaches, community and church leaders, neighbors and others.”
