Hampton Roads Soccer is a recreational to travel soccer program for ages 2+. Hampton Roads Soccer is the youth affiliate of Virginia Beach City FC who play in the NPSL. Hampton Rosds Soccer has field partnerships with Norfolk Collegiate, Captain Slade Cutter Athletic Park, and Real Life Chrisitan Church.
The Complex consists of 20 outdoor fields, two of which are the recently added lighted turf fields.
Hampton Roads Sports Academy in Norfolk, VA specializes in baseball training. Seven full size batting cages to use for hitting, fielding and pitching. Our staff of ex-professional players and college players offer their knowledge and set the example for the youth in the game of baseball.
The Center for Bioelectronics Stem Summer Institute (SSI) Program is a one-week academic program for rising 6th - 12th graders who are underrepresented in STEM and are interested in STEM research and STEM careers.
Hampton Roads Urban Agriculture is a non profit organization that is committed to reducing food insecurity within the Hampton Roads area, through urban farming, educational programming, and by creating a sustainable food system. We manage community gardens that are utilized to train veterans and community members in growing their own food or starting a small scale farm.
We offer programs around healthy eating, over 80% of the food grown in the garden is given away to those in need. We are working to launch our Drones in Agriculture program for at-risk youth as a way to expose them to careers in agriculture, STEM, coding, healthy eating as well as our youth farmers market entrepreneurship program. Youth summer programs available.
This group if for anyone in Hampton Roads that is interested in Waldorf Education or is already a Waldorf family looking for local support and friendships! This is not just a home school group either so don't feel like you don't belong. Anyone is welcome.

Hampton Parks, Recreation, and Leisure Services Therapeutic Recreation division provides specialized services for individuals with disabilities in Hampton. Therapeutic recreation activities may include swimming classes, craft classes, trips, camps, adult programs, special events, and varied offerings every season. Our participant-to-staff ratio is appropriate to the needs of the group.
In addition, we provide accommodations upon request for individuals with disabilities in our general recreation programs. The Therapeutic Recreation staff will work with participants, parents/guardians, and staff to help ensure an enjoyable recreation experience. Advanced notice for any requests for accommodations are welcome.
The Hampton University Museum is the oldest museum in the nation dedicated to African-American art and culture. Among the new additions is an exhibit showcasing modern art from Africa that coincided with the Black American Renaissance.

Enrichment and academic opportunities for participants of all ages.
This state-of-the-art aquatics center provides recreational opportunities for the community with a 50-meter pool, a 25-yard pool and an outdoor splash park. This facility serves two purposes: as a community fitness and wellness center with swimming lessons and as a generator of youth sports travel. The complex offers water safety and first learn-to-swim classes to all Hampton second-grade students. Spring and summer camps available.

Children's consignment sale event
Learn how to how to cut, grind and arrange glass for fusing. Most classes are beginner; however we do offer intermediate and advance level classes or come in with your own design and we will help you create that one-of-a-kind piece. Ages range from 6 to adult depending on project. Our classes that involve scoring and breaking of glass, we ask that children be at least 12 years of age and accompanied by an adult. Our Lil Chips classes are great for ages 6 and up.
Harbor Park is the home of the Norfolk Tides, the Baltimore Orioles AAA baseball team. Harbor Park also hosts NCAA baseball and concerts.
Skateboard classes and a Summer Skateboard Camp for kids 7-14 years old who are interested in learning the fundamentals of skateboarding safely. Homeschool classes may be available.
HaRdLUG is a group of adults and older teens in the cities of Hampton Roads, Virginia using LEGO to connect with the local community and each other, and celebrating that play is something you never outgrow. HaRdLUG displays what they build at public events throughout our region, and are always looking for fun new partnerships that match volunteer members' interests with the goals of organizations hosting community events.

Join our Haunted History Tours for a rare opportunity to walk through the 360-year-old halls at night. An interpreter will lead you through the house, sharing four centuries of stories. Maybe you will have your own ghostly encounter! Limited tickets will be sold for each tour, and the tour is suitable for children 12 and up. For safety, no children under 6 allowed.
