At d’Art Center our mission is to provide unique opportunities for our community to experience the visual arts. Every summer we offer a pottery camp designed for children ages 8-11 (12-14 in select weeks) to watch, learn, create, and enjoy art in an interactive environment. Pottery camp combines traditional mud clay, air dry clay and polymer clay due to time constraints for kiln firing. Pieces will either be glazed and fired or air dried and painted with acrylics, then sealed.

Fantastic community resource! Cathy-Jo Ramsey took the time to make a glass figurine of a fish with my kids while they watched and she explained everything going on. Yvonne Hilliard-Bradley showed us the pottery workshop and talked with my kids about how to throw clay and make pottery. Hannah Brinckley was very helpful in connecting us with other staff members and explaining more about classes the offer. Keep this place going!
D'art is a beautiful museum where you can view, experience, and purchase art. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to speak with two different artists who have studios in the museum. Watching them work and conversing with them created a full circle experience in the creation process. It was such a pleasure. I will definitely return to enjoy this wonderful gift to the community.
My wife's friend is A professional artist and was showing her art there. Extra ordinary pieces of art there and the in house artists, management, and staff were amazing ????
Made a roadtrip with my sisters to drop off a painting for an exhibition called VIVID. Showing from 10/12/24-11/16/24 If you live around those neck of the woods go check it out ✌????
I love this new location! There are a number of terrific and talented resident artists whose work you can admire along with a rotating exhibit featuring artists from all over. I highly recommend taking a paint pour class with resident artist Deanna. She's a great teacher who makes sure everyone is completely satisfied with the art they've created. If you get a chance to do a wine glass dip class, you'll be super pleased with a custom set of wine glasses you can keep for yourself or give as a beautiful gift.
