This is a two week camp meant to introduce middle school students to the sport of rowing. This camp will also meet the requirements for the rowing badge for the Scouts of America. Please follow the link for the full flyer and details!

Sylvan Learning of Chesapeake offers tutoring in math, Algebra I & II, Geometry, reading, writing, study skills, homework and SOL Prep.

Sylvan Learning of Suffolk and Harbour View offers tutoring in math, Algebra I & II, Geometry, reading, writing, study skills, homework and SOL Prep.

Kids (and adults) fitness programs ages 4+ at two Virginia Beach locations (London Bridge and Shadowland). Kids classes and programs are offered on a semi-regular basis throughout the year.

All classes are structured to give the youth athlete progressive training in strength and conditioning and an increase in self-esteem and confidence. Teens 16 years and older are welcome to join our standard workout classes. Spring & Summer camps may be available.

Football camp teaching fundamentals, drills & competitions

Team Hoyt Virginia Beach remains the premiere running inclusion foundation of it's kind and hosts riders and athletes in over 25 runs a year - including 5k's, half marathons, marathons, and even triathlons!

A haunted walk in the dark woods provides spooky attractions for horror fans. Gruesome creatures creep from dark crevices. Leering, shrieking clowns emerge from unseen hiding spots. Even the rustle of the wind through the dry leaves induces terror.

This Halloween, those brave enough to chance a walk through Terror Woods at Great Bridge Pumpkin Patch can immerse themselves in a truly fearful experience. The lengthy, wooded trail features actors and eerie animated props that send guests scuttling. And, if guests still have their wits about them, one look at the dilapidated cabin along the trail, with its inhabitants staggering out and inching closer and closer to the path's edge, will surely send them reeling.

A collection of over 40 local artisans. Most items are handmade, but we also have some found treasures. We offer Arts and craft classes for children and adults. Children’s Classes are available as walkins anytime we are open. Adult classes are scheduled and listed on our Facebook page and website.

The Academy of Learning is a licensed daycare for children ages 2-5 providing students with a solid educational foundation, along with a nurturing environment. All staff are degreed teachers. Summer camps available.

The Agape School of the Virginia Peninsula is now accepting applications for the upcoming school year.

We are a new school launching with Kindergarten, First, and Second grade. Although new to the area, we are part of a network that has helped establish, train, and build 20+ sustainable schools across the country. We plan to add one grade level annually focusing on healthy growth that will determine our future grade levels.

Welcome to The Bake Studio at May’s — where butter, flour, and a little magic come together. Whether you’re a total beginner or a seasoned home baker, our hands-on classes invite you to roll up your sleeves, learn new skills, and leave with something delicious (and a little flour on your apron). Baking classes are open to ages 12+. There are some parent + child classes open to younger bakers.

The 8 year old twins make and create bows for the family! They make great gifts and add fun to any look!
