Gruesome creatures creep from dark crevices. Leering, shrieking clowns emerge from unseen hiding spots. Even the rustle of the wind through the dry leaves induces terror. This Halloween, those brave enough to chance a walk through Terror Woods at Great Bridge Pumpkin Patch can immerse themselves in a truly fearful experience. The lengthy, wooded trail features actors and eerie animated props that send guests scuttling. And, if guests still have their wits about them, one look at the dilapidated cabin along the trail, with its inhabitants staggering out and inching closer and closer to the path's edge, will surely send them reeling. 2025 Costs: TBA

The Governor’s School for the Arts has instrumental music camps for woodwinds, brass, percussion, piano, and flute choir for rising 7th through 12th grades. Come learn from musicians of the Virginia Symphony and faculty of the Governor’s School. Camp days consist of masterclasses, group classes, individual lessons, small and large ensembles and a final performance. Financial assistance is available. Prerequisite is one year of band and must have your own instrument.
