Homeschool Day at Virginia Living Museum (Newport News)

For the Littles: “Triceratops”
Time: 9:15am-9:45am
Participants: Recommended ages 3-5
Join our special time for the little homeschoolers as we read a story, do a craft, and meet an ambassador animal. This month, we will learn about life as a baby triceratops!
Price: $6 child member, $17 child non-member, member adults free (but must have ticket), non-member adults $18. Museum admission is included in ticket price.
Nature Detectives: Is Math in Nature?
Time: 10:00am-10:45am, 11:00am-11:45am
Participants: Recommended ages 6+
Nature is full of mysteries! Join us as we explore important questions about animals and nature. This month, we will explore ways that math and shapes play important roles on our planet.
Price: $6 child member, $17 child non-member, member adults free (but must have ticket), non-member adults $18. Museum admission is included in ticket price.
STEM Exploration: Biology
Time: 10:30am-12:00pm
Participants: Must be 12+
Join us as we dive into STEM exploration, gaining a broader understanding of how our natural world works. This month, we will explore biology, looking at animal adaptations, movement and feeding patterns, and the diversity of life we see on our planet.
Price: $14 student member, $26 student non-member. One adult may accompany each student, but must have valid museum admission and are participating in an observational capacity only. Museum admission is included in ticket price.
