Weekend of December 10-11, 2011

Downtown Smithfield Annual Christmas Parade: Saturday, December 10 at 11am in downtown Smithfield. A wonderful old-fashioned parade that sums up the heart of Smithfield. This year’s theme is “Main Street Holiday Magic!” For further information call (757) 357-5182

Hampton Holly Days Parade: (Hampton) December 10, 2011 at 7pm. Enjoy the excitement of a parade filled with marching bands, beautiful floats, lovely ladies and the ever jolly Santa Claus.

Santa’s Arrival Parade: (Olde Town Portsmouth) December 10, 2011 at 5:30pm. At the end of the Olde Towne Holiday Music Festival, gather at High Street Landing for the arrival of Santa by the Portsmouth Fire Department’s fire boat, escorted by the Portsmouth Police Department’s police boat. Santa will join the parade and proceed up High Street to the Court Street stage in a horse drawn-carriage.

Suffolk Holiday Parade: Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 7pm. Groups taking part in the holiday parade include motorized units, equestrian units, marching units, floats and marching bands. Santa will join the parade to the delight of everyone! The event is free and open to the public.

Toyland Parade at Riverwalk Landing: Saturday, December 10, 2011 activities start at 1pm, parade starts at 1:30pm. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there, lots of kids activities including riding the “Riverwalk Polar Express”. Decorate your stroller/wagon and join the parade. Pets welcome.
