Thanksgiving Day: Charlie Normile Turkey Trot 2014 and World Record Attempt!

A great reminder for this annual event. The Charlie Normile Turkey Trot will take place on Thanksgiving Day 2014.

This year the organizers are doing something special, they are trying to break the Guinness Book of World Record for the most candles blown out simultaneously! The Official Attempt will be done on Thanksgiving Day, down at Sandbridge in Virginia Beach.

If you would like to participate please plan to get there before 8am so all participants can be lined up and ready to go by 845/9am for the official attempt.
The Guiness Book of World Record attempt will be followed by a 5k , a mile run and a kids 26.2 yard dash. You do NOT have to be a runner to participate in the World Record Attempt!
