Suffolk Teen Summit - Suffolk VA

Save the date for the upcoming Teen Summit in Suffolk!

Where: Hilton Garden Inn – Suffolk Riverfront, 100 East Constance Road, Suffolk VA

When: Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 9am

Cost: Free and open to the public. This event is open to youth aged 11-17 and also adults 18+ who are interested in empowering youth.

Description: This year’s Teen Summit conference is themed Empowered to Overcome. It will focus on empowering youth to make them stronger and more confident, especially in controlling their life and claiming their rights. Immediately following the seminars will be an After Party at Constant’s Wharf Park, directly behind the hotel.

Teen Summit serves as an expansion of prevention programs and activities developed for the Suffolk Initiative on Youth Crime Prevention Plan. This dynamic conference will engage youth and adults in interactive sessions on topics such as acceptance, mindfulness, bullying, and adult-interference.
