StoryWalk® Events in Virginia Beach

StoryWalk® events continue in June with Plants Can’t Sit Still and Bear Wants More.

Description: A StoryWalk® features pages of a children’s book, deconstructed into panels and placed along a path or trail. As families follow the path to read the story, parents will find tips on how to practice early literacy skills with their children, and children will enjoy suggested activities based on what’s happening in the story.

About StoryWalk® – A StoryWalk® encourages reading and movement as it shares a picture book story through a series of engaging signs along a path. Each page of the book is printed and laminated on a sign placed in the ground. As you visit each sign, read the story and follow any directions to help you reach the end!
