Safety Town Registration (York County)

Safety Town, open to rising Kindergarteners in York County is now OPEN for 2024 registration! The program is currently open for Residents and will open May 13 for Non-Residents, York County residents AND non-residents.

Where/When:  

• Session 1: July 8 – 12, 2024 from 9 – 11:30am @ Yorktown Elementary
• Session 2: July 15 – 19, 2024 from 9 – 11:30am @ Yorktown Elementary
• Session 3: July 22 – 26, 2024, from 9 – 11:30am @ Yorktown Elementary
• Session 4: July 29- August 2, 2024, from 9 – 11:30am @ Waller Mill Elementary

Description: Each day of the week, Safety Town will focus on a different safety topic. All lessons and activities relate to the safety skills topic of the day.

Topics include:

• Monday – Traffic safety
• Tuesday – Fire safety
• Wednesday – Home safety
• Thursday – Personal safety
• Friday – Completion ceremony and safety fair (parents must stay with child)

Cost: Residents – $40 for the week. Non-Residents – $55 for the week.

Safety Town is ONLY for children entering Kindergarten in Fall 2024.
