Local Fishing For The Kids in Hampton Roads (Updated)

Upcoming opportunities for the kids to learn about and/or test out their fishing skills!

Fly Fishing 101 (Chesapeake)
Come to the Rokeby Center near Indian River Park to learn the basics of Fly Fishing! Sessions begin inside the Rokeby Center (1709 Rokeby Avenue) to learn about fly fishing. Then you will go outside to test your skills. No experience required. You can bring your own equipment, but it’s not necessary. Free and open to the public.
Dates:
Saturday, January 7, 2023 from 10 am – 12:30 pm – this session is FULL
Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 10 am – 12:30 pm
Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 10 am – 12:30 pm
