The 2018 Pungo Strawberry Festival!

Mark your calendars, there are lots of great events on the calendar Memorial Day Weekend...including the 35th Pungo Strawberry Festival!

The Strawberry Festival was one of the first local festivals I attended in Hampton Roads, even before we were officially living in the area. If you haven't been, it is worth the trip!

On-site at the festival you will find food (much of it strawberry themed!), lots of great local vendors, and tons of family-friendly fun. Live entertainment, carnival rides, livestock, military tributes, pig races, pony rides, and of course the Parade.

The full schedule of events is here: Pungo Strawberry Festival.

Carnival rides will be open on Friday, May 25th from 5-10pm (wristbands available for $25), and Saturday 9am-7pm (Carnival will run until 10pm), /Sunday from 9am-7pm.

The Festival runs both Saturday and Sunday, May 26-27, 2018 starting at 9am. The Parade will start at 10am on the morning of Saturday, May 26th. There are no pets allowed at the Festival.

Where: You can find the Pungo Strawberry Festival at 1776 Princess Anne Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23456.

Cost: Parking is $10 and admission to the festival itself is FREE.

Make sure you leave yourself time for parking and for the traffic that can happen with such a popular event.
