Reminder – Norfolk NATO Festival & Virginia International Tattoo!

Coming up this weekend in Norfolk – come out to celebrate the 2022 Norfolk NATO Festival and International Tattoo! This event is an extraordinary combination of free events and paid performances celebrating American pride and patriotism, presenting the traditional sounds of the massed pipes and drums – celebrating friends, allies, and the resilience of the human spirit.

Reminder – The (FREE) Hullabaloo opens three hours prior to each Tattoo performance. Dinner, dessert, drafts, drumming, dance, drill & bagpipes abound! There’s something for everyone!

  • Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 6pm: Flag Raising (free and open to the public)
  • Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 7:30pm: International Tattoo
  • Friday, April 29, 2022 at 7:30pm: International Tattoo
  • Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 10am: Parade of Nations (free and open to the public)
  • Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 11am-3pm: International Village (free and open to the public)
  • Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 7:30pm: International Tattoo
  • Sunday, May 1, 2022 at 2:30pm: International Tattoo

Flag Raising: The kickoff of the International Tattoo will take place Thursday, April 28 from 10-11am, at the Norfolk NATO Festival Flag Raising at Scope Plaza.

International Tattoo: Virginia International Tattoo is the largest spectacle of Music and Might in the United States of America offers an astounding display of inspirational military music, majestic massed pipes and drums, show-stopping drill team maneuvers, colorful and elegant dancers, and much more. Tickets start at $20 ($10 for students). Purchase tickets HERE.

NATO Festival/International Village: Join in a celebration and appreciation of our local NATO Headquarters. Interact with NATO Representatives and explore international heritage with cultural performances, international art, cuisine, and craft beers. Come celebrate with the whole family in a European Street fair atmosphere in Downtown Norfolk. To find out more about the International Village Click HERE. This event is FREE and open to the public.
