Virginia International Tattoo is back for 2025!  Bring the entire family out to celebrate the Norfolk NATO Festival and International Tattoo!

This event is an extraordinary combination of free events and paid performances celebrating American pride and patriotism, presenting the traditional sounds of the massed pipes and drums – celebrating friends, allies, and the resilience of the human spirit.

Reminder – The (FREE) Hullabaloo opens three hours prior to each Tattoo performance. Dinner, dessert, drafts, drumming, dance, drill & bagpipes abound! There’s something for everyone!

• Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 5pm: Norfolk NATO Festival Flag Raising (free and open to the public)
• Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 7:30pm: International Tattoo
• Friday, April 25, 2025 at 7:30pm: International Tattoo
• Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 10am: Norfolk NATO Festival Parade of Nations
• Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 11:30am-3pm: Norfolk NATO Festival International Village (free and open to the public)
• Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 7:30pm: International Tattoo
• Sunday, April 27, 2025 at 2:30pm: International Tattoo

Flag Raising: The kickoff of the International Tattoo will take place Thursday, April 24 from 5-6pm, at the Norfolk NATO Festival Flag Raising at Scope Plaza.

International Tattoo: Virginia International Tattoo is the largest spectacle of Music and Might in the United States of America offers an astounding display of inspirational military music, majestic massed pipes and drums, show-stopping drill team maneuvers, colorful and elegant dancers, and much more.

NATO Festival/International Village: Join in a celebration and appreciation of our local NATO Headquarters. Interact with NATO Representatives and explore international heritage with cultural performances, international art, cuisine, and craft beers. Come celebrate with the whole family in a European Street fair atmosphere in Downtown Norfolk. To find out more about the International Village Click HERE. This event is FREE and open to the public.

Most of the festivities are free and open to the public with the exception of the Tattoo itself. Tickets to the Virginia International Tattoo – Purchase tickets HERE.

• Clear bags are strongly encouraged (bag checks will be conducted at random).
• If you’re heading to Town Point Park for the Norfolk NATO Festival International Village and the Parade of Nations, you can take the Tide light rail with Hampton Roads Transit to either the Civic Plaza, MacArthur Square, or Monticello stations. The ride is $2 each way. Kids ride free with a paying adult.
