Nature Connects® Art with LEGO® Bricks
Now open at Norfolk Botanical Garden! This exhibit lets you explore the beautiful grounds of the Botanical Garden while enjoying the unique displays of nature-themed LEGO art created by New York artist Sean Kenney.
Where: Norfolk Botanical Garden 6700 Azalea Garden Road Norfolk, Virginia
When: January 17 – June 7, 2020. The Norfolk Botanical Garden hours are 9am-5pm daily through March, and move to 9am-7pm beginning April 1st.

Description: Many of the sculptures are larger than life and highlight the interconnectivity of all living things. An oversized hummingbird and flower will demonstrate concepts of co-evolution. A centerpiece sculpture of a Monarch butterfly, built from 37,000 LEGO pieces, will draw attention to protecting the habitat of this beloved insect. In addition, this exhibition will also include a hands-on play zone where guests can build their own creations using Lego® bricks.
Opening Weekend: Opening Weekend January 18-19th: In addition to the Nature Connects® Art with LEGO® Bricks 16 giant sculptures, the Hampton Roads LEGO® User Group (HARDLUG) will join us for a 2 day in-door event in Rose Garden Hall from 9am to 5pm. Enjoy demonstrations and Kids of ALL ages – come join in and create your own works of art using LEGO® Bricks!
