Upcoming Lowe’s Kids’ DIY Workshops (In Store)

Lowe’s is back with FREE Kids’ Workshops!

Now known as DIY Kids’ Workshops (instead of Build and Grow) Lowe’s FREE Kids’ Workshops are back! Lowe’s DIY Kids’ Workshops have some great new projects for little builders.

Make sure to register as these events will fill up and scroll down to see the full list of upcoming workshops.

Bring your mini-DIYer into Lowe’s at one of the select time slots. Workshops hosted by one our Red Vest experts are held from 10:00am – 1:00pm, in-store only.

We look forward to building with you and your little ones! Don’t forget – if you are unable to attend during your selected (registered) timeslot, your kit may be given away to Walk-Ins starting at 12:00pm, the day of the workshop.

Space is limited, so register today!  Kits are recommended for ages 4-11.

Workshop/Kit: Lawn Mower

• Date: Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 10am-1pm
• Location: All participating Lowe’s locations
• Description: Ready to roll into spring? Builders can construct their very own push Lawn Mower toy—complete with a spinning feature! It’s a fun, hands-on project that teaches kids about tools and motion while getting them excited for yardwork season.

Workshop/Kit: Terrarium

• Date: Saturday, April 18, 2026 from 10am-1pm
• Location: All participating Lowe’s locations
• Description: Grow creativity from the ground up with our Tiered Terrarium project! Mini builders will build and design a layered terrarium box that’s perfect for displaying plants or treasures. It’s a great way to explore nature, design, and craftsmanship.

Workshop/Kit: Garden Basket

• Date: Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 10am-1pm
• Location: All participating Lowe’s locations
• Description: Spring into gardening fun! Kids will craft their very own Garden Basket, perfect for carrying seeds, tools, or pretend produce. This project blends imagination and practical building skills—ideal for little green thumbs in training.

Workshop/Kit: Trophy Cup

• Date: Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 10am-1pm
• Location: All participating Lowe’s locations
• Description: Celebrate summer victories with a soccer themed Trophy Cup workshop! Builders can create and decorate their own award-worthy soccer trophy to honor their accomplishments, big or small. It’s a great way to boost confidence and creativity through hands-on fun.

Workshop/Kit: Mini Toy Box

• Date: Saturday, July 11, 2026 from 10am-1pm
• Location: All participating Lowe’s locations
• Description: Keep treasures safe and organized with this Mini Toy Box project! Kids will build and decorate a functional storage box with compartments for their favorite keepsakes or collectables. It’s a fun and useful craft that builds pride—and practical skills.
