IKEA: Just for Kids’ Craft Events

IKEA Norfolk has created a series of Just for Kids craft events designed specifically for their youngest visitors! Children 12 and under are invited to register for their free upcoming make-and-take workshops. You do need to be signed up for IKEA Family to participate in many of these events (it is free to sign-up in-store).

MARCH 2021

Mermaid Craft

• When: Monday, March 29, 2021 from 10-11am
• Description: Join us on Monday, March 29 for a mermaid-themed craft, featuring IKEA’s RÖRT wooden spoon. After you make your craft, you can snap a selfie with our new mermaid sculpture, located near the flags in the parking lot.

Decorate a Watering Can

IKEA Norfolk Celebrates Military Children

• When: Friday, April 9, 2021 from 11am-2pm
• Description: In celebration of the Month of the Military Child, we want to celebrate our local military kids! Join us in-store on Friday, April 9 for a special event: First 50 kids will receive a free gift. Military kids eat for free between 11 and 2 in the Restaurant. Make a square to add to our Military Child Friendship Quilt. Participate in a scavenger hunt. offering up to 80% off products in the As-Is department and more! Open to children of active duty military and veterans. A military ID card (active/reserve/retired) must be shown at check-in to receive voucher for free meal. Registration is required. The event will be set up to ensure proper distancing between families, and everyone over the age of five must wear a face covering while in the store.

Earth Day Craft
