Lots of handmade fun for the whole family is coming up at the Hermitage Museum in Norfolk!

Where: Hermitage Museum & Gardens, 7637 North Shore Road, Norfolk, VA 23505

When: Saturday, September 19, 2026 from 11am – 4pm. Rain date: Saturday, September 26.

Cost: Free admission and open to the public. Donations at the door are encouraged to support the mission of the Hermitage Museum.

Description: The annual Hermitage Handmade Festival returns for its 11th year! Shop handmade arts, crafts, and creations from 100+ artists, watch live artist demonstrations throughout the day, and let the kids loose on the scavenger hunts and activities. The beautiful grounds along the Lafayette River are worth the trip on their own.

Parking and shuttle: There is no on-site parking for this event. Complimentary shuttle service runs from satellite parking locations, including The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd (7400 Hampton Boulevard). One shuttle is equipped with a wheelchair lift and seating. A limited number of accessible spaces and some street parking are available nearby.
