Hermitage Handmade Festival

Lots of Handmade fun (for the whole family) coming up at the Hermitage Museum in Norfolk!

Where: Hermitage Museum & Gardens, 7637 North Shore Road Norfolk, VA 23505

When: Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 11am – 4pm (Rain date: Sunday, September 24)

Cost: Free admission and open to the public. Donations encouraged.

Description:  The annual Hermitage Handmade Festival returns for its 8th year! Join us on Saturday, September 16th from 11-4pm to shop for arts and crafts handmade by 95+ artists. Plus, enjoy free admission to the Claudia Bueno: Echoes of the Heart exhibition, food and dessert vendors, Fairy Hair by Chelsea, children’s activities with ButtarCups, museum scavenger hunts, and more!

Hermitage Handmade Festival

Complimentary shuttle service is available at 4 satellite parking locations:

  • Larchmont Library (6525 Hampton Blvd)
  • Second Presbyterian Church (7305 Hampton Blvd)
  • The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd (7400 Hampton Blvd)
  • CrossFit 757 (7712 Hampton Blvd)

Shuttle stops at all four locations during event and drops off at the Hermitage Museum front gate. Pick up and arrival times will vary based on rider volume and demand. No on-site parking is available. A limited number of disabled parking spots will be available across from the front gate. Ample street parking is also available in the neighborhood. When parking in the neighborhood, please be sure to observe all parking signage, park legally, and ensure that your vehicle is not blocking driveways and walkways. Well-behaved dogs on leashes are permitted.
