Healthy Living Day at VLM!
Come out to the Virginia Living Museum this Saturday to learn about all sorts of fun ways to get healthy, reduce stress, and stay fit.
Of course it wouldn’t be a trip to the VLM without learning how nature contributes to some of our best healthy practices (like washing our hands!). Lots of great information will be available on-site including tips for students on how to best fill and carry their backpacks to avoid back and shoulder pain.
This event will include:
- Blacklight test- how clean are your hands??
- Blood pressure checks
- Healthy Diet Display
- Fun ways to keep kids active
- Backpack Weigh Station
When: Saturday, August 3, 2013. This event is 10am-4pm, the museum will be open from 9am-5pm.
Where: The Virginia Living Museum 524 J. Clyde Morris Blvd., Newport News, VA 23601
Cost: VLM members free, non-members $17 adults, $13 children (ages 3-12) museum only.
Cost of Museum Admission and Bodies Revealed Exhibit: VLM members $7, non-members $26 adults, $20 children (ages 3-12)
