Many of you have seen posts from the Virginia Aquarium on social media about the amazing wildlife sightings that have been happening regularly through their Winter Wildlife Boat Trips. Today I am VERY excited to announce that the Virginia Aquarium is giving us 2 sets of 2 tickets to pass along to you in a GIVEAWAY!!!

Guests of the Virginia Aquarium Winter Wildlife Boat Trips have been seeing all sorts of wildlife including whales, dolphins, brown pelicans, Northern gannets, double-crested cormorants, seals and more!

Winter Wildlife Boat Trips

Winter obviously changes our familiar landscape but the sea offers some amazing differences as well. To get a different perspective, the Virginia Aquarium offers two hour Winter Wildlife Boat Trips.

Guests will find on the 65-foot catamaran Rudee Whaler or Rudee Flipper, a heated cabin as well as outdoor seating on both the upper and lower decks. Guests can enjoy a hot beverage as they cruise along with knowledgeable Virginia Aquarium educators and scan the horizon looking for birds, harbor seals, harbor porpoises, and whales.

Dates: Winter Wildlife Boat Trips began December 27, 2012 and run through March 31, 2013.

Cost: Adults $28 (12 and older); children $24 (ages 4-11); and children less than 3 years of age are free.

Tickets: Purchase your tickets at either Aquarium building or at the Virginia Beach Fishing Center at Rudee Inlet.
