Bring the entire family for a fun-filled day and special visit from Santa!

Every December 24, Santa makes his epic journey around the world. But on Saturday, December 7, he’s inviting children to The Mariners’ Museum to “travel” with him as he makes his annual dry-run of his trip.

Children will fill in their special Around the World with Santa passport as they learn about holiday traditions from different countries & make crafts from continents around the world.

Several of the make-and-take crafts will include: Poinsettia Fan from Mexico, a Gourd Ornament from Africa, Paper Lanterns from Asia, Sand Art from Australia, Penguin Puppets from Antarctica and much more!

Where: The Mariners’ Museum 100 Museum Drive Newport News, VA 23606
When: Saturday, December 7, 2013 from 11am – 3pm
Cost: This program is free with Museum admission and runs from 11 AM – 3 PM. Kids 5 and under are admitted for free.
