The Pinner House Gingerbread Extravaganza (Suffolk)

Activity: Enjoy an afternoon of holiday-inspired cheer as you create a beautiful gingerbread house. House structures, frosting, assorted decorative treats and more will be provided, along with expert guidance from world-class pastry chef, Susan from Baked Expectations.

Gingerbread Man Storytime & Craft (Virginia Beach)
Dates: Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at 5pm
Where: Kempsville Area Library, 832 Kempsville Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23464
Cost: Free. Registration required.
Activity: For children 3-7 years old. Join Kempsville’s Tween Advisory Council for a story and craft based on fairy-tale’s fastest cookie.

Gingerbread Showdown (Poquoson)
Address: Poquoson Public Library, 500 City Hall Ave, Poquoson, VA 23662
Date: Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 5-6pm
Cost: Free. Registration required.
Activity: 6th-12th graders, whether you are a seasoned gingerbread artist or new to the game, come to the library to build gingerbread houses out of all edible materials. We will supply the graham crackers, icing, and candy. Bring your creativity and any specialty pieces you would like to add.

Gingerbread Houses (Poquoson)

Date: Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 5-6pm
Cost: Free. Registration required.
Activity: Calling all kid architects! 1st-5th graders, come to the library to build gingerbread houses out of all edible materials. We will supply the graham crackers, icing, and candy, and you just need to bring your creativity.

Breakfast with Santa at Sage Kitchen (Virginia Beach)
Dates: Saturdays, December 10 & 17, 2022 from 8am-12pm

Activity: Join us for our annual breakfast with jolly ol’ Saint Nick. Enjoy a delicious Sage Kitchen breakfast and free picture-taking with the man himself. Hang around and make your own gingerbread house! We’ll provide all of the supplies, you bring your smiles and laughter.
