2026 Ambassador Pass – FREE Fun for Newport News Residents/Employees
Save the dates if you live in or work for the City of Newport News!
The Ambassador Passes for Newport News residents and city employees are BACK for 2026! Each pass covers admission for 2 adults and 2 children (ages 15 and under) and is valid during specific weeks at these designated locations:
January 12–18, 2026
- Lee Hall Mansion (Open Wed–Sat)
- Virginia Living Museum (Open Daily)
January 19–25, 2026
- Historic Endview (Open Wed–Sat)
- James A. Field House (Open Tues–Sat)
January 26 – February 1, 2026
- The Mariners’ Museum & Park (Open Daily)
- Virginia War Museum (Open Wed–Sun)
February 2–8, 2026
- Newport News Park Disc Golf (Open Daily)
Check in at the Newport News Visitor Center, 13560 Jefferson Ave., 9 a.m.–5 p.m. - Peninsula SPCA & Barnyard (Open Mon–Sat)
February 6 & 7, 2026
- Lee Hall Depot (Open Fri & Sat only)

To request a pass, you must be at least 16 years old and show proof of current city residency or current city employment.
The pass must be picked up at one of the locations listed below.
- Newport News Visitor Center, 13560 Jefferson Avenue, Newport News VA
- Newport News Tourism Office, 702 Town Center Drive, Newport News VA
- Newport News City Hall – Communications Department, 2400 Washington Avenue (Lobby), Newport News VA
