FREE Event: "Peaceful Parent, Happy Kids: How to stop yelling and start connecting"

We all have days where we aren’t the parent we want to be and our kids aren’t behaving the way we want or need them to. This FREE event can help!

According to the CHKD website:

Dr. Laura Markham author of “Peaceful Parent, Happy Kids: How to stop yelling and start connecting,” will discuss how to teach your child to become more self-disciplined and develop a high emotional intelligence that will help them cope with anger, hurt and disappointment. Strategies to help parents handle their own strong emotions and reactions like yelling, hitting and spanking will also be presented. Included will be a crowd pleasing question and answer segment.

Where: Great Bridge Middle School Auditorium 441 South Battlefield Blvd. Chesapeake, VA

When: February 28, 2013 from 6:30-8:30pm
