Ella Fitzgerald Music Festival (With A Free Kids Event)

The music and legacy of Newport News native Ella Fitzgerald are being celebrated as a part of the Ella Fitzgerald Music Festival Centennial Celebration at the Downing-Gross Cultural Arts Center this weekend.

Make sure to check out the FREE children’s event (Ella’s Birthday Party) on Friday:

Where: Downing-Gross CAC, 2410 Wickham Avenue Newport News, VA 23607

When: Friday, April 19, 2017 from 4-7pm 

Cost: Free 

Description: Ella’s birthday party for school-age kids. Join us for cupcakes, a scavenger hunt, and a special performance by Ella herself.
