Every year there is a single date where you and your family can be first to preview the display and stroll through the Annual  Celebration in Lights at Newport News Park – all in support of the Center for Child & Family Services program and services.

This year the Holiday Light Stroll is back!

Dates: Tuesday, November 26, 2024. There will be two time slots this year.

  • Time Slot 1 – Tickets will be 5-7pm. You must be in line by 6:50pm
  • Time Slot 2 – Tickets will be for 7:45-8:30pm. You must be in line by 8:20pm

We are unable to exchange time slots once your ticket is purchased. Please carefully select the ticket time slot that works best for you and your guests.

Where: Newport News Park at the intersection of Ft. Eustis Blvd. and Jefferson Ave. in Newport News, VA

Event Description: The Holiday Light Stroll presented by Langley Federal Credit Union is a charity walk ‘one night only’ through the world famous Newport News Celebration in Lights. It is an event to benefit the programs and services of the Center for Child & Family Services, a local non profit family services organization. The walk has been happening for over 20 years and since 2014 the Center for Child & Family Services has been organizing the Holiday Light Stroll with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the Center’s programs and services.

Tickets are on sale now! We will be using a ticketless event this year. Tickets will be electronic and sent to your email / Eventbrite account. Tickets will be scanned at the event for entry. Tickets are sold as single tickets, but we do offer a discounted 4 pack of tickets (if you are buying a 4 packet of tickets, everyone must be together when the ticket is scanned), Children 2 and under are free.

Once you order your tickets, they will be electronically sent to you by Eventbrite. Reminder, this event has sold out in advance the last four years.
