Drive-Through Dates: This Hampton Roads tradition takes place nightly from November 14, 2025 through December 31, 2025 with timed tickets for admission at 5:30pm, 7:30pm, and 9pm. Illumination begins at 5:30 pm each night.

Important Details: Advanced purchase is strongly encouraged for Holiday Lights at the Beach. There is a $10 additional fee for drive-up purchases. Tickets are only valid for the selected date and time slot. Tickets are non-refundable.

Pricing: The cost to drive through the Holiday Lights at the Beach display ranges from $30 – $40 (plus fees), per vehicle depending on the size. Pricing for minibus, large bus, Limo/VIP is also available. Lights at the Beach Pricing and ticket availability here. 

• November 13, 2025 – Bike Night Preview – 5:30 to 8pm. FREE event – open to the public
• Military Mondays – Military can save $5 every Monday with your Military I.D.
• Santa Paws Tuesdays – A free pup cup to every pet in the car. 
• January 1, 2026 – Holiday Light First Night Hike – 5:30 – 8pm. FREE event – open to the public

Description: Experience the enchantment of jumping fish, musical crabs, lively elves, and joyous penguins dancing in illuminated splendor against the moonlit backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean.

The 2025 Holiday Lights at the Beach promises lifelong memories with a Surfing Santa, color-changing archways, luminous fixtures honoring the Armed Forces community, a spectacular 40-foot dancing-light Christmas tree, the largest and longest curved LED Light Tunnel in the WORLD, and so much more.

When you go: Vehicles enter the show at 2nd Street, travel north on the Virginia Beach Boardwalk and exit at 33rd Street. All vehicles must observe traffic regulations posted on Atlantic Avenue and on the Boardwalk.

• Pedestrians are prohibited on the Boardwalk while the show is in progress each night.
• Passengers must remain in their vehicles at all times.
• Vehicles are prohibited from stopping or parking on the Boardwalk.
