YMCA Preschool offers a trusted, high-quality early childhood education program that combines a safe, nurturing environment with an intentional, research-based curriculum.
Our curriculum follows early childhood education best practices and is aligned with Virginia Department of Education VQB5 standards. Our preschool graduates consistently meet or exceed Virginia’s benchmarks for kindergarten readiness.

We use the STREAMin3 curriculum, a proven approach to early learning that supports development across all domains and encourages children to become curious, engaged, and enthusiastic learners.
