Welcome to Come As You Are (Caya), a nonprofit organization devoted to empowering independence and fostering neuroinclusivity for neurodivergent young adults and adults across Hampton Roads, Virginia! Our mission is to cultivate autonomy, elevate self-esteem, and champion inclusivity through comprehensive behavioral, social, and workplace skill-building programs. At Caya, we are dedicated to creating an environment where every individual has the opportunity to thrive and succeed in both their personal and professional lives. 

The READY workshop is a dynamic 12-week program designed to empower individuals with the skills and confidence needed for career success and independent living. Each week, participants will engage in interactive sessions focused on building resilience, enhancing self-advocacy, and developing personal growth strategies. From mastering job readiness to strengthening life skills, READY provides the tools, resources, and personalized support to help you take charge of your future, all while fostering a sense of community and connection along the way.

The Virginia Commonwealth ChalleNGe Youth Academy is a quasi-military alternative education program for youth seeking a structured academic setting. Serving Virginia residents, 15 1/2 – 18 years old, who have become off-track or withdrawn from public school.  Classes begin in January and July.

Commune is a farmer-owned sustainable eatery, cafe and bakery using local ingredients to serve delicious and conscientious food and drink located in the Vibe Art's District in Virginia Beach. Cooking classes available.

Our mission is "to connect the wishes and needs of children in Virginia Beach foster care with the generosity of our community. We provide the resources and support needed to give these children the opportunity to grow into positive and productive members of our community"

Connecting The Steps offers comprehensive evaluations and services, including ABA, to families with children who have  special needs, including autism. Services include Parent Training, Potty Training, Behavior Redirection as a part of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Adaptive Skills instruction and support, Social Skills Training, and Summer Camp Programs.

Youth Football

Ages 6 weeks through 5nd grade. Spanish immersion program. Summer Camps available.

Pre-school and After-school program for children ages 2, 3, and 4.

Dental prevention and education for children from infancy to adolescence, including those with special healthcare needs.

Youth Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Football, and Cheer.

CCCS provides therapeutic services to the youth, families and adults in the Tidewater area through counseling, skill-building and community support services. Our services range from ABA, Intensive In-home, Mental Health Skill Building and Outpatient therapy. We accept Medicaid, Commercial Insurance and self-pay that varies for each program.

At Crush It On Canvas, we partner with local venues to host art parties that are all about creativity, connection, and fun! We are passionate about facilitating a creative environment that encourages our participants to release their inner artist and CRUSH IT. We offer a variety of events for kids that include step-by-step painting and step-by-step crafting as well as parent & me events that involve parents collaborating with their kids to complete a painting or craft. We also offer private events and adult-only events.

Curious and Free is a homeschool consulting, evaluation, and tutoring service based in Virginia Beach. We help families wrap up their school year with end-of-the-year evaluations. We also empower families who are interested in homeschooling by helping them launch their family school and create the best adventure of their life! The world is our classroom, and it can be yours too!

Cute E’s Photography also has a studio in the Great Neck area of Virginia Beach which is used for newborns, children, cake smashes, headshots, and our Studio 10 sessions.

CyberCamp teaches high school students, grades 9-12, Cyber Defense Skills. High school students learn about cyber ethics, online safety, cyber threats, and cybersecurity principles. The CyberCamp includes lab activities like those assigned to IT professionals (e.g., setting up secure user accounts, file permissions, software update schedules, and firewall settings).

Dance studio in Virginia Beach offering in-studio programs for dancers ages 3+ with options for Ballet, Tap, Parent/Child Dance with Me (ages 2+), Tumbling, Hip-Hop, Jazz and more. Summer programs available.

Mobile classes are also held in a number of community schools in the Virginia Beach area.
