Yorktown Tea Festival at American Revolution Museum (Yorktown)

November 7, 2025 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Steep yourself in history and flavor at the Third Annual Yorktown Tea Festival, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, November 7, at the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown. This full-day celebration invites guests to discover the global story of tea—from its cultural roots to its political impact on the eve of the American Revolution. Enjoy hands-on workshops, expert talks, historical interpretations, and several opportunities to taste and treasure unique blends.

Round out your tea-filled weekend with an evening of music and merriment at the Colonial Tea Ball, held from 7 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, at the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown. Dance master, author, and historian John Millar will lead guests through lively 18th-century ballroom dances such as Draper’s Garden and The Queen’s Jig, accompanied by the Itinerant Band. Guests are encouraged to don period attire—or dress to impress—as they waltz through history surrounded by immersive exhibits and tea-inspired artifacts. Tickets are $25 per person, designed for ages 13 and up. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and dancing begins promptly at 7 p.m.
