Sensory Friendly Story and Playtime at Downtown Suffolk Library (Suffolk)

Neurodiverse families with young children are welcome at Sensory Friendly Playtime and Story! Each month will feature a short, sensory friendly storytime and free play in an environment curated for neurodiverse children who may have sensory sensitivity, with quiet and noisy play areas, as well as coloring sheets and other creative self-directed activities. Sensory Friendly Playtime and Story will also highlight a selection of books from our collection related to the storytime and other topics of interest for neurodiverse families and children. Storytime will be from 10:30-10:40 AM, with free play following from 10:40-11:30 AM. For ages 2-5.
