Join the Autism Society of Tidewater Virginia for the inaugural Pirates & Princesses of the Peninsula 2-Mile Walk & Run and Autism Resource Fair, a family-friendly celebration of community, inclusion, and connection coming to the Peninsula this October.
Whether you walk, run, roll, or cheer from the sidelines, everyone is invited to join the adventure!
Pirates & Princesses of the Peninsula was created to bring families together while connecting them with the organizations and service providers that support the autism community throughout the Peninsula.
The Autism Resource Fair will provide families with an opportunity to meet local service providers, discover programs and resources, ask questions, and build connections. By bringing families and community organizations together in one place, ASTV hopes to help identify and close service gaps so that individuals and families can access the support they need.
There will be plenty of opportunities for photos, activities, and family fun throughout the event.
Pirates & Princesses of the Peninsula is designed to be an inclusive experience for individuals of all ages and abilities. Whether you’re a competitive runner, a casual walker, a family looking for resources, or a community partner ready to connect with families, there is a place for you in our crew.
Your participation helps support the Autism Society of Tidewater Virginia’s mission to create connections and empower individuals and families in the Autism community with the resources they need to live fully.
