Opening Reception – Rooted in Love (Suffolk)

The Suffolk Art Gallery’s fall exhibition, ‘Rooted in Love,’ is in partnership with Suffolk Public Library and centers our commitment to community–to nurturing a culture rooted in love, care, and respect for all of our neighbors, and is inspired by bell hook’s seminal book All About Love.
Come out to celebrate the featured artists in ‘Rooted in Love’ while enjoying live music by Peep the DJ, complimentary refreshments and beverages, artmaking, the opportunity to meet the artists, and a brief presentation of awards.
‘Rooted in Love’ will be on view at the Suffolk Art Gallery, 118 Bosley Ave., Suffolk, from September 19 through October 16, 2026. Visitors of all ages are welcome and encouraged to visit. The Suffolk Art Gallery is free to the public and open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 AM to 5 PM, Sundays from 1 to 5 PM, and closed on Mondays.
