Nature’s Night Frights at Chesapeake Arboretum (Chesapeake)

Join us for a 1.5-mile long night hike to explore the dark forest. We will learn about poisonous plants and creepy creatures that prowl the park at night. Then do some animal adaptation demonstrations and finish by using black light flashlights to look for biofluorescent organisms.
Will take place October 17 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Chesapeake Arboretum. Bug spray and drinking water are recommended. Participants receive a goodie bag to take home with them. Cost is $5 per person.
Age 7 and up.
