Moonrise Forest Circle (Chesapeake)

Each month brings a new full moon and new opportunities to create lasting family memories. As the sun sets and the moon rises, we’ll explore and discover materials and thoughtful seasonal invitations to play inspired by the full moon, create our own unique moon to take home, and share songs and Native stories connected to each month’s moon. As we close, we share gratitude with a moonlit family nature walk out of the forest.
These 1 hour forest school sessions run monthly under the moon and intended for all families, best for children 3-11. Times vary depending on the season; however, these classes will be scheduled about 1 hour before sunset. We will open up registration one month at a time.
