Dig into the hidden world beneath our feet in this exciting hands-on soil science adventure! In this interactive summer farm class, children will discover that dirt is much more than just mud: it’s alive with worms, fungi, microbes, and insects that help plants grow strong and healthy. Students will learn the difference between healthy and unhealthy soil while exploring the tiny underground helpers that keep farms growing.
After the lesson, children will get their hands dirty in a sensory soil exploration activity and plant their very own sunflower seed to take home and grow. With digging, discovering, planting, and play, this class is perfect for curious young gardeners and nature lovers! Reserve your tickets here!
Class starts at 9am and typically runs 45 minutes to 1 hour. Ticket for (1) child to participate in the lesson and activities. Parents may join at no additional charge. Recommended for ages: 3-7. All ages are welcome.
