Kaya Catches the Future at First Colonial High School (Virginia Beach)

Still hurting and angry from the loss of her older brother, Kaya skips softball practice to protest the war that cost Sterling his life and manages to catch an object that appears out of nowhere. Pulled into another dimension by a mysterious watch, Kaya meets a stunning variety of otherworldly creatures – from the well-meaning Temporodactyl to the ominous Widow, from nefarious denizens to the ethereal, singing Cardiovocians. In her quest to return home, Kaya and her kind-hearted and loyal new friend Fix discover that – without the earthly concept of time to lock her in place – loved ones she thought were lost can be nearer than she ever thought possible.
