Time to celebrate! 2026 is a big year for York County Public Libraries. Our small system officially became state-certified 50 years ago! Additionally, the original Yorktown Library officially opened its doors 42 years ago in September 1984.
Join us for cake and a special library exhibit as we reminisce how far the library has come and look forward to the next decades. All ages welcome–registration is not required. Drop in anytime!
