November 7 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
$75Teaching Artist: Rachel Jaffe
Get creative together in this hands-on family ceramics workshop! Using handbuilding techniques, families will create their own miniature clay houses or buildings that glow when illuminated with an LED tea light. Learn how to roll and cut clay slabs, construct walls and roofs, and carve windows and doors that allow light to shine through. This engaging workshop is perfect for artists of all ages to learn new skills, collaborate, and create a one-of-a-kind keepsake.
Each registered participant will create one illuminated clay building.
Designed for school-age children and their accompanying adult. All attendees must register. Finished artworks will be kiln- and glaze-fired, and participants will be notified when their pieces are ready for pickup. Complimentary LED tea lights will be provided with all finished artworks.
