Fall Paddle at Great Dismal Swamp Canal Trail – Ches. (Chesapeake)

Join us for a scenic paddle through the historic Dismal Swamp and take in the stunning views from the water. This self-guided adventure begins at the Ballahack Boat Ramp and ends at the North Trailhead. Bring your paddleboard, kayak, canoe, or any non-motorized watercraft, along with a USCG-approved personal floatation device. Costumes are encouraged (but not required)-show off your fall spirit while you float.
Route: Drop off your watercraft at Ballahack Boat Ramp at 3700 Dismal Swamp Canal Trail beginning at 7:30 AM, then park your vehicle at the Dismal Swamp Canal Trail Boat Ramp Launch at 1246 Dismal Swamp Canal Trail. A shuttle will transport participants back to the launch point at Ballahack Boat Ramp.
Registration information coming soon. Registration includes light continental breakfast before launch, boxed lunch at the finish, swag bag, and transportation.
