Crabbing in Chesapeake at Great Bridge Locks Park (Chesapeake)

Learn how to catch a crab using handline, bait, and net! We will discuss Blue Crab biology, hand out supplies, then spread out along the fishing pier to do some crabbing.
Handlines are yours to keep at the conclusion of the program. Bring a cooler to keep your catch or catch & release.
Registration is required. Registration is open August 13 to September 10. For ages 7 and up.
