Closing Reception: Rhythm of the Stage at Attucks Theatre (Norfolk)

Join us for a celebration of 20 years of the Norfolk Public Art program and for the closing of our current Gallery at the Attucks Exhibition “Rhythm of the Stage” featuring over 40 original works of art by 25 local artists. Free & open to the public.
Enjoy a panel discussion lead by Robert Wojtowicz, former Norfolk Arts Commissioner and current Professor of Art History and Dean of the Graduate School at Old Dominion University. Wojtowicz is the literary executor of the Estate of Lewis and Sophia Mumford and the author of Lewis Mumford and American Modernism: Eutopian Theories for Architecture and Urban Planning (1996); the editor of Sidewalk Critic: Lewis Mumford”s Writings on New York (1998) and Mumford on Modern Art in the 1930s (2007); and the co-editor (with Bruce Brooks Pfeiffer) of Frank Lloyd Wright and Lewis Mumford: Thirty Years of Correspondence (2001)
