The 2026–27 ODU Theatre season begins in the dark—and we’re looking for performers ready to endure and transform.
AUDITION FOR TWO FALL PRODUCTIONS
Night of the Living DeadPresented by ODU Rep & ODU Film
Roles available: Ben, Harry, Tom, Johnny, Barbara, Helen, Judy, Karen + 14 Zombies and select film roles
MedusaPresented by ODU Theatre in collaboration with CORE Theatre Ensemble
AUDITIONS: August 25 and 26 CALLBACKS: August 27
Performers of all ethnicities, gender identities, ages, and abilities are welcome.Auditions are open to all! Alumni, community members, current ODU students, and students elsewhere!
Majors and non-majors are encouraged to audition. Open to You may audition for one or both productions.HOW TO AUDITION:
You’ll receive confirmation of your audition time within 24–48 hours of submission.
Choose and prepare one monologue from the provided selections.
Show up ready to play.No need to find your own audition piece—we’ve provided the material. Choose the monologue that speaks to you and make it yours.
