9/11 Memorial Climb at Cape Henry Lighthouse (Virginia Beach)

Join the local Fire Department to honor the fallen men and women of 9/11 and climb the Cape Henry lighthouse in memorial. Ten tower climbs equals the amount of stairs climbed on that day. Yellow remembrance roses will be available for purchase on site and will be placed at the base of the lighthouse. A donation will be made to the National Fallen Firefighter Foundation.
Regular admission costs apply, Preservation Virginia Members are free. The tower climb will take place from 10:30am-2pm on September 11th. Use the link below to purchase tickets for any available time slot on September 11th.

Cape Henry Lighthouse is situated on an active military base, Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story. A SECNAV 5512 background check form must be submitted for each visitor over the age of 18. This form must be completed at least 5 days prior to your visit, and no more than 30 days in advance. Please review all base access requirements at www.capehenrylighthouse.org and to plan your visit. *Visitors with base access are exempt from submitting a SECNAV 5512 form and may drive directly to the lighthouse.
