Claiming your listing allows you to update the information and description in your business directory listing. It also connects your email address so that you can be automatically notified if a a potential customer requests information about your program.

Find The Business Listing

Search for your business name, address, phone number, or website URL.

Make sure it is your existing listing and not someone else’s or a duplicate.

Click "Claim Listing"

On your specific listing page, look for the “Claim Business” button.

This will take you to the verification process.

All claims are reviewed, and submitting the request from a email address affiliated with your business helps to streamline the process. If there is additional information or verification needed you will be contacted.

Log In Or Create An Account

If you are not already logged in, you’ll be asked to:

  • Log in to an existing account, or
  • Create a new one.

Once logged in, you’ll be returned to the claim process.

Fill Out The Claim Form

The next steps can vary depending on how the mobile site is configured. You may be asked to provide information such as:

  • Business name
  • Email address/Phone number
  • Position in this business
  • Message

After reviewing, submit the form.

Claim Submission Confirmation

After submitting, you will receive a confirmation message stating that the claim request has been sent, and that you will receive an update by email.

Wait For Approval (If Required)

All claims are reviewed and approved individually to make sure the listing is only claimed by someone who is an active part of the current business. We may email you to request verification during this process.

Claim Approved

Once the claim is approved, you will be notified by email. All owners of claimed businesses can:

Claimed Free Listings:

  • Edit business information
  • Manage the listing from their account

Claimed Promoted Listings:

  • Edit business information, including extended description and registration links
  • Add logo and cover image, include multiple images, and video
  • Manage the listing from their account

Manage The Listing

The user can now access the dashboard and manage their presence on MyActiveChild.com, including:

  • Adding connected calendar events
  • Making updates to both published calendar events and directory listings
  • Receive information when potential customers reach out via our lead form
