Sunday Funday at PFAC

This weekend is Free Admission weekend at Peninsula Fine Arts Center in Newport News and that includes their Sunday Funday program!

Where: Peninsula Fine Arts Center, 101 Museum Drive, Mariners’ Museum Park, Newport News VA

When: Free admission weekend is Saturday & Sunday, March 3-4, 2018. Sunday Funday activities run from 1-3pm on Sunday.

Cost: Free

Description: Celebrate the Opening of PFAC’s Newest Exhibition, Art of Asia! Explore our galleries on your level! Kid friendly panel copy; themed storytime and art activity; gallery hosts with fun facts and family tours. Sunday Funday is for Preschool through 3rd-grade art enthusiasts and their families. 

Storytime: 

  • Lon Popo – A Red Riding Hood Story from China
  • One Grain of Rice – Exotic, beautiful, and instructive, this “mathematical folktale” by author-illustrator Demi emerged from her love of India
