Seaworthy Vessel Challenge!

sailing.jpgDo you have creative pirates in your family? Head over to the Norfolk Botanical Garden this Friday June 22, 2012, for their Seaworthy Vessel Challenge!

Kids will have a chance to build & design their own ship out of recycled materials, then put it “out to sea” in the Sarah Lee Baker Perennial Garden.

The ship that sails the longest wins the pirate treasure!

Pre-registration is required for this event and there is a fee of $20 (parent/child) for those of you who are not members of the Botanical Garden and $15 (parent/child) for those of you who are members.

The event takes place Friday from 4:30-6pm. Click HERE to find out more and to register.
