Newport News Festival of Friends

Another great event for the family is taking place May 3rd in Newport News with the Annual Children’s Festival of Friends!

Where: Newport News Park 13560 Jefferson Avenue Newport News, VA 23603

When: Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 10am – 5pm.

Cost: Admission is FREE. Food available for purchase.

Description: Get ready for the Children’s Festival of Friends at Newport News Park on Saturday, May 3rd from 10am to 5pm. Join us for a day of fun in the park with inflatables, costumed characters, yummy food vendors, crafts & games, live entertainment, and train rides!

We’re also celebrating Kids to Parks Day, so bring the whole crew and make some magical memories! Food and beverage vendors will also be on site selling a variety of meals, sweet treats, and refreshing drinks.
STAGE SCHEDULE
10:30 am – John Kingry Magician
11:40 am – Opera for Us
12:20 pm – The High Joy Love Experience
1:00 pm – The Creative Content Playground
1:40 pm – Uncle Tyrone
2:50 pm – Fox Fire Dance Team
3:30 pm – Love Cats
4:10 pm – City Arts
