Mount Trashmore Carnival in Virginia Beach May 23 - June 17, 2025

The 2025 Carnival at Mt Trashmore has been CANCELED as of Monday, May 26, 2025. See the statement from the City of Virginia Beach on this link.

Mark your calendars! The Summer Carnival is headed back to Mt Trashmore for Summer 2025!

When: Friday, May 23 – Tuesday, June 17, 2025

Where: Mt Trashmore Park, Virginia Beach VA

Description:  Rides, games, and traditional state fair foods will all be available at the Summer Carnival at Mount Trashmore Park. Located in the parking lot off Edwin Drive, the carnival is great for all ages and offers free admission and free parking.

Cost: Admission is FREE, Please note there are fees for rides, games and concessions. Tickets are not yet on sale.

HOURS (subject to change): 

  • Monday: 5pm-10pm
  • Tuesday: 5pm-10pm
  • Wednesday: CLOSED
  • Thursday: 5pm-10pm
  • Friday: 5pm-10pm
  • Saturday: 2pm-10pm
  • Sunday: 2 pm – 10pm
  • Holiday Hours:
    • Monday, May 26th: 2pm – 10pm

2025 Carnival Access Rules: All persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian over the age of 25, and must always remain with the adult when on carnival grounds. LIMIT of four (4) minors for each accompanying adult. Any person under the age of 18 without an adult as outlined above will not be permitted in the carnival.
